The Sielskis were on our feet jumping and cheering for our Beffy yesterday.
SHE MADE HER FIRST EVER SOCCER GOAL!!!
It was so unbelievably exciting! Beth did so well last night. After some help from Dad in the backyard and some words of encouragement, she really stepped up her game. Beth is such a sweet, laid back kid. But we told her she doesn’t have to be nice when she’s playing soccer. So she tried REALLY hard and it paid off. Beth, we are so proud of you.

Thanks Gramma and Grampa for letting us join you at your condo in Dubois, PA. We had a great time!
That’s Treasure Lake in the background. I had to take this picture because my parents took a similar picture of Joyce and I. Of course, that was taken in Arizona MANY MANY years ago, but still I liked the comparison.
Relaxing at the condo…
Gramma brought along a bubble maker. Look at the size of those bubbles!
Ok, so the weather wasn’t the greatest, but we definitely made the best of it. And that meant going to the beach when it was freakin’ FREEZING! But the kids didn’t care. They had a blast!
Can’t forget the playground! Hey, shouldn’t this be the other way around?
Somebody loves to go SUPER HIGH!
And so does Mom!
Our litte Diva…sigh, she is getting way too old too fast!
Working on a puzzle…
Can’t forget the campfire and smores pics!
What can I say, they eat their smores exactly the same way…marshmellow on face and all!
We had a great time! Thanks for looking.

It’s that time of year again…Girl Scout Camp! Last year we stayed over, but due to some scheduling conflicts, we went for the day. Bethany had a blast! The theme this year was Superheros. The girls made tshirts with their favorite superhero and Beth picked Supergirl.
Here she is with her best buds. From left to right: Bethany, Stephanie, Sammi, and Julia.
I said it last year, but these girl scouts know how to camp. Almost every minute of their day was filled with a fun activity. The first of the day, self defense lessons!
And of course, tons of crafts!
I thought the coolest activity was the obstacle course. One part of it included walking on a suspended wire with only ropes to help you get across!
Thanks for looking!

Bethany is doing great at baseball this year! We see a huge improvement since last year. And this division uses the pitching machine.
Looking all professional on the bench…
She hit really well today! See the ball? (hint: it’s YELLOW!)
And here’s Coach Daddy! He’s helping out this year (and he secretly loves it!)
Beth got a chance to play 3rd base. She even caught the ball and Kris and I were SURE the kid was out! If Gramma was there, she would have been kickin’ dirt at the umpire.
And we can’t forget Benny! He’s so good at the games. Here he is playing behind our chairs.
And when we got home, since it was such a beautiful day, the kids rode their bikes while Mom and Dad worked.

Hmm, where to start… a lot has been going on. I think we’re all still trying to adjust to Kris’ new job. Things are definitely on the upswing so I can’t complain too much!
Last weekend the weather was BEE-YOU-TIFUL! So I took a few cute pics.
I love this one of my men cutting the grass.
And I got Beth in mid jump.
Here’s a pic of the crew on Easter.
Grammy was here to help out for a little bit (thanks Chi) before Easter. I took this pic of her at Beth’s spelling bee. Say “cheese” Grammy.
And of course, our speller! She tried so hard. Her first word was echo. That was hard!!!
And last but not least…Aunty got a dog! He’s just the cutest thing so I have to post a pic. His name is Buster and the kids absolutely adore him.
I guess that’s it for now! Come back soon. I plan to be much better about updating. Bethany has started baseball and I’m sure we will have lots to post about that! And we convinced Ben to take soccer this summer so that should be interesting as well.
